Train scientific managers to meet the complex challenges posed by infectious diseases and major and/or emerging chemical and biological risks, within a "One Health" approach.
The increasing complexity of public health challenges due to global changes in industrialized societies requires a "one health approach," recognizing the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. This approach demands a unified baseline knowledge to enhance understanding and communication among health stakeholders, thereby building capacity to prevent and manage future health crises. Professionals such as veterinarians, food engineers, medical doctors, pharmacists, scientists, economists, and ecologists must acquire advanced public health skills and develop the ability to work across disciplines and cultures.
One Health applied coordination, actions and tutored project – 6 ECTS

Health risks in ecosystems – 7 ECTS
• Ecological concepts, global changes and emerging risks
• Infectious risks
• Chemical risks and exposome
Safe, nutritious and sustainable food systems – 7 ECTS
• Food and feed production chain comprehensive approach

• Dietary shifts and nutrition
• Food safety risk assessment and emerging challenges
• Multicriteria risks-benefits analysis
Health management – 5 ECTS
• Applied health organizations and policies
• Methods in epidemiology
• Emergency management in practice
Data analysis – 5 ECTS
• Critical analysis of articles and systematic review
• Data visualisation, statistic modeling and meta analysis
• Data management and analytics
• Methods and tools for omics data
Internship during 5 to 6 Months – 30 ECTS
C1 - Identify and explain existing and emerging risks associated with global health hazards (biological, chemical, and physical) impacting humans, animals, and the environment, and understand their interdependencies.
C2 – Identify, select, and use tools and methods to collect, manage, and analyze data related to health risks.
C3 - Conduct risk analyses (assessment, management, and communication) using appropriate methods, taking into account the level of evidence and the relevant regulatory, ecological, technological, socio-economic, political, cultural, and ethical contexts.
C4 - Identify, coordinate, and collaborate in professional and transdisciplinary settings with international One Health partners (from diverse scientific backgrounds, cultures, interests, and sectors). Mobilize a network to address complex health risk issues and demonstrate reflexivity to continuously improve practices.
C5 - Communicate effectively and interactively with scientists, professionals, public authorities, media, and the general public about health risks in a constructive manner
A cross-disciplinary and international MSc programme for veterinarian, food engineers, medical doctors, pharmacists and scientists
